Welcome to IRON! Our guild exists in order to enhance the enjoyment of playing Eternal Lands. As such, there are a few rules and regulations we expect all IRON members to follow:
1. Always follow the rules laid out in the Eternal Lands Game Rules (in game press F5)
2. Be courteous and respectful to other EL citizens and especially other IRON citizens.
3. No Bag jumping, stealing, or scamming of other players.
4. No exessive cursing on any guild channel.
Guild Ranks:
Grunt - All new IRON members start out as a grunt. It's a 30 day trial period, where you have the chance to try out IRON, and we have the chance to get to know you. You may decide to leave, or may be asked to leave for any reason during these 30 days.
Savage - This is the rank you will become after you have proven yourself a loyal and trustworthy member of IRON. As a savage you are truly one of us and as such, you are included in our Charn's (our bot) profit sharing program.
Barbarian - This is a respected rank that is given to someone who has proven themselves as adept at a particular profession etc. As a barbarian you will have some say in starting guild projects.
Chieftain - This rank is given only to those who have proven themselves as mature and wise individuals. This rank is NOT handed out lightly. As a chieftain you will have the power to recruit new members and to direct guild projects. A chieftain is expected to help out fellow guild mates and be a good role model.
Councillor - This is the decision making body of the guild.
Then there are two special ranks:
Alt -- alternate characters operated by the same player as a 'normal' member, to see wich member it is behind the Alt you see online you can go to
Tribal Elders -- are those who have been with the guild for a long time and have held council rank (chieftain or councillor)
Promotions:
Promotions are handed out by tribal leaders (chieftain and above) as they see fit. All promotions must be earned, not asked for! When a leader consistently notices that you are an asset to the guild, and that you continue to have potential which can not be reached at your current level, you will be promoted.
Note: There are only so many chieftain and council member positions. When the positions are full no promotions to those positions will be granted.
If you have any questions on the above, feel free to pm any chieftain or councillor online or send a pm to any of the IRON Leaders here on the board and they will get back to you as soon as they can.
