Alliance with K&M

I was actually the one asking Katakil if he was returning said items, I didnt require it of him neither did SirC, but I asked if he was going to given the confusion on tag, and Kata said he would return items. Noone ordered him to, certainly not SirC - all he did was asking Kata what happened. But it is true, given the confusion as some K&M members were under the impression we had a NAP agreement I ASKED if he was going to.

I did not mention any names, or even the Incident in my post. My only pm to the person involved was to ask what Happened, it was one sentence and 1 answer. And if they say anything different, I do have the Chat logs to prove it. I never asked him to return the bag or told him to do so, as I am so accused. Being a council member I have to do what is best for IRON, and when a situation arises I bring it to councils attention. I did so that day thru GML and by PM and its one of the reasons I opened this discussion back up, I was asked to by another council member. Maybe I phrased it wrong, maybe some people took it the wrong way, but I did what was asked. I could care less if K&M is Green tagged or Red tagged or any other guild for that matter, but there needs to me a mutual agreement between the two If that Is the case. After revi's first post, I figured the matter closed. The topic was addressed, the answer was out in the open for all to see. Little did I know I was going to be burned at the cross.

OK, let's all calm down, please.

Afaikn the current situation is:
- IRON and K&M are mutually green tagged, i.e. non-aggression, but no free access to guild map for K&M
- As I set the green tag w/o discussion council, it should be considered temporary, unless there are no objections*
- Katakil (the one who attacked a K&M member believing they were neutral) left guild with Dominus. That means he can no longer participate in this discussion

So all that is left to discuss here is: do we want a non-agression pact with K&M? Note that this does not exclude agreed upon PvP, for training, breaking stuff or just for fun.

If you want any further discussion of the incident involving Katakil, please take it to another thread. (an apology of Tuedafadda here would be acceptable).

*: I set the tag immediately after discussion with K&M partly to prevent further accidents,
partly because I felt that was the way opinion was going in this thread anyway.

I am one of the people who would never attack a K&M tagged player unless that player attacked me first. I am in fact the earliest of IRON members to make that decision. That will not change irrespective of presence or absence of NAP status. But there is a difference between me not doing it and me peer-pressuring someone else into also not doing it when guild rules and diplomatic status allow it.

Ok to reply to you revi, I will first state that I am not a PK'er and never will be so my point of view is
for obvious reasons colored by this. I like NAPs with friendly guilds like K&M etc. as I sometimes for dailies
and other stuff has to venture into PK areas and a tag color makes it easy to judge if I can just go ahead.

Ok, this matter was closed and then re-opened by Coffee no fault in that and no worries about it.
But, where are the representatives of K&M in this matter?
If We are green tagged from their behalf we clearly stated that we are not on terms with that due to us not really benefitting on having an alliance with them.

Due to the nature of this matter returning the bag was a good choice, even though things are not clear enough K&M members see us as green (which I guess is their NAP tag) and didn't expect to get attacked by Dominus even though he saw them as neutral.

Why did Dominus leave IRON? There is no reason for this so get him in here again Kata.

If K&M wants their tag to remain green from IRON's side, I want one of their leaders to get online here and make a post about it, there will be nothing official until that happens because so far only IRON members have been speaking for their behalf and that's not good enough.

There have been a lot of misunderstandings here and most of them are imo due to the fact that there are no representatives from K&M that can speak on their behalf for real.

There were actually two things being handled in the last episode:
- request for no-attack pact with K&M
- Katakil attacking a K&M member believing there was no agreement with them.
The second matter should not have been discussed here at all (imo).

I request this thread to be locked, and if needed another opened by a K&M council member
if they want to discuss a no-attack agreement.
(Not locking it myself as I'm involved in the discussion)

Neither of us left IRON because of what happened. As you all know, Dom and I are best buds IRL and we both have been talking between each other about leaving IRON and continuing on our own, in our own guild. We don't have anything against anyone in IRON, we like you all very much, even when you ignore us. Plus us leaving might not be permanent. If our own guild doesn't work out, I wouldn't join any other guild but IRON. I think Dom feels the same way. K&M or returning the bag, has nothing to do with us leaving. I hope this clears things up.

Also not sure if I should post this here, but since i don't have access to IRON forums anymore, i thought this would be the best place to post.

Please contact K&M so one of their leaders can make an official request of a NAP agreement if they are still interested in that.
